Posted December 17, 2008 by admin in Ontario Attractions Blog | No comments yet

November 8th – January 5th – Visit the Winter Festival of Lights, Canada’s foremost illumination festival in its most famous address – Niagara Falls – as we capture the magic of the holiday season from November 8, 2008 to January 5, 2009.

The Winter Festival of Lights in Niagara Falls, Ontario includes over 125 animated lighting displays and 3 million sparkling tree and ground lights which can be seen within the Niagara Parks Winter Wonderland, including the world-famous Enchantment of Disney® displays and the world’s largest illuminated Canadian-American Flag.

There is no admission fee to view the illuminations but donations are gratefully accepted (suggested contribution $10 per car), with proceeds used to enhance the lights and displays.

A wintertime visit to Niagara Falls during the Winter Festival of Lights has become a family tradition for over 1 million local residents and visitors from around the world.  We invite you to discover the many events and attractions that Niagara Falls and the Winter Festival of Lights have to offer.

This beautiful Garden setting is home to the Butterfly Conservatory and serves as the unique outdoor classroom for students attending the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.
